About Us
Family Physical Therapy is a family-owned rehabilitation company specializing in physical, occupational and speech-language therapy, based in central Nebraska.
Family Physical Therapy began on July 16, 1993, by Michael Batenhorst, PT, in the back of the Kearney Clinic, with two employees and big dreams. Under the leadership of Gregg Dahlgren and Misti and Greg Fiddelke, Family Physical Therapy has grown to employ over 100 incredible staff members who have servant hearts, and expanded services to outpatient locations in the communities of Kearney, Gretna, Norfolk, Grand Island, Minden, Lexington, Ravenna, Wood River, Franklin, Tilden, and Johnson Lake.
We are proud to serve our friends and neighbors of all ages in our outpatient clinics, regional hospitals, nursing homes, schools, and their home. We thank our patients who have supported us over the last 30 years and have entrusted us with their health and wellness. We look forward to serving you in the future.
Services Provided
To ensure quality care, Family Physical Therapy will require an on-site assessment to identify and correct impairments before work injuries occur.
Locations
We have locations in Franklin, Gretna, Lexington, Minden, Norfolk, Ravenna, Tilden, Wood River and multiple locations in Kearney. We also offer our services across the state of Nebraska in various locations.
Johnson Lake Clinic is our newest clinic! At this location, our therapists specialize in sports rehabilitation following an injury or surgery and injury prevention by conducting screenings and strengthening exercise programs.

Jill grew up on a ranch in Newport, Nebraska. She received her OT degree through KUMC in Kansas City and has been an OT since 1991. Jill loves the outdoors and enjoys spending time with her two adult boys, husband, and dogs!
