Have you been struggling with vertigo symptoms and impaired motion? Did you know that a physical therapist can help restore and improve motion and reduce vertigo symptoms to help achieve long-term quality of life?
Physical therapy has been proven to be a beneficial and cost effective treatment of vestibular symptoms and can help you return to your normal daily functions and work activities in a timely manner.
We work with primary care providers as a team to develop a treatment plan, using the latest research and proven techniques to ensure positive outcomes.
We define success as freedom of vertigo symptoms and ability to return to prior level of function and independence. We accomplish this by:
- A thorough examination of past medical history and current symptoms. Posture, gait, and balance will be examined as well as the eyes' ability to focus, move, and maintain gaze
- Specific testing such as Dix-Hallpike, Roll testing and VOR eye gaze will be performed based on your medical diagnosis
- Vestibular rehabilitation will also include a specialized home exercise program that is provided the first day of treatment
- Our staff has extensive training focused specifically on vestibular rehabilitation. We would be more than happy to speak with you if you would like any further information
