Franklin Family Physical Therapy

Family Physical Therapy is partnered with Franklin County Memorial Hospital. We offer physical, occupational and speech therapies for multiple different types of illnesses and injuries. We also offer aqua therapy as well. Our physical therapists work with clients suffering from balance and ambulation issues, decreased lower extremity strength, and pain in the lower extremities, back, neck and shoulders. We emphasize in orthopedic therapy where there are many patients we see that have undergone surgeries and require months of therapy.  Occupational therapy works with individuals having difficulty completing daily home and work tasks, pain in the upper extremities, and weakness in the upper extremities.  Our speech therapists treat people with difficulty swallowing, voice production, stuttering, social skills and cognitive deficits. Having three therapy disciplines at this location allows us to offer well rounded rehabilitation for any individual.

We are happy to serve the Franklin community with courteous and professional staff members and in the convenience of your home town.

Services

Physical Therapists and Assistants partner with you and teach you how to prevent or manage your health condition and motivate you during your treatment so you can function optimally.  They also will help you understand your body so you can achieve long-term health benefits.

Occupational Therapists help you to develop, recover, and maintain your daily living and works skills.  Occupational therapy is a client centered practice that places a premium on the progress towards the client’s goals.

Speech Therapists assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and oral/feeding/ wallowing skills to identify types of communication problems (articulation; fluency; voice; receptive and expressive language disorders, etc.) and the best way to treat them.

Aquatic Physical Therapy is the evidence-based and skilled practice of physical therapy in an aquatic environment by a physical therapist, or a physical therapist assistant under the supervision of a physical therapist. Aquatic Physical Therapy includes but is not limited to treatment, rehabilitation, prevention, health, wellness and fitness of patient/client populations in an aquatic environment.
